Common questions
Do I need a separate account for each organisation?
No. One account works across every participating organisation, and all your bookings, passes and receipts live in the same place.
Where do card details go?
Straight to our payment provider. The card form is served by them, so the number never reaches Santhom Pay, is never logged and is never stored. We keep only the card brand and last four digits so your receipt is recognisable.
What happens if an event sells out?
If the organiser has enabled a waiting list you join it and are told your position. If someone cancels, the place can be offered to the next person in the queue.
I started booking but didn't pay — what happens to my places?
Places are held for a short window while you complete payment. If checkout is abandoned the hold expires and the places are released automatically, so nobody else is blocked.
Do I have to print my pass?
No. Show the QR code on your phone at the door. Turn your screen brightness up and it scans in a moment.
What if there's no signal at the venue?
Scanning keeps working. Scans queue on the device and sync when the connection returns, and a replayed scan reports its original result rather than a false duplicate.
How quickly do we receive the money?
Funds settle to your organisation's own account on the payment provider's standard schedule. Settlement reporting is based on payments actually received, so it matches your bank statement rather than what was ordered.
Is there a mobile app?
Everything works in a phone browser, including door scanning, so nothing depends on installing an app.
